Hands and Feet Hopscotch

Updated: Jun 5, 2020

This is a fun game with endless possibilities! The goal is to jump your way to the end using your hands and feet the way they are pictured on your path. To play, you will need:

  • Tape (to secure the prints to the floor)

  • At least 5-6 copies of each print (left and right hands, left and right feet). Experiment and see how many rows you want to jump! You can use the printable below to make your prints, or if you're feeling creative, trace out your own hands and feet on printer paper. If you're playing outside, try drawing them directly on the ground with chalk!

How to play:

  • Set up as many rows as you want. Each row should have 2 or 3 squares.

  • Each square will have one hand or foot. Make sure you don't put repeats in the same row! (Can't have two left feet!) Use tape to secure the papers on the floor.

  • For younger children, keep two feet in each row. For older kids, try making it more of a challenge by using 2 hands and 1 foot in some rows!
